New Photos

I went to Saint Thomas with my family this past week and brought the camera. That means … photos. Below are a few of my favorites, in multiple categories.

Here were some of my favorite animal photos:

What was also a cool series of shots was this iguana eating a leaf. I had to run off to a beach, so I didn’t capture the entire motion, but I still got a few good shots in the spare time I had:

Another one of my favorite animal photos was on the water and featured a group of birds — all in different stages of flight.

Apart from the aminal shots, here were some of my other favorites:

Upgrades

I also recently got a new calculator, the TI Nspire CX. It’s really neat and has proved useful for a number of my classes. I hope to begin programming Python onto the calculator, which, come to think of it, I will watch a tutorial tomorrow.

I am also one week away from the M3 Challenge weekend. With another team member and a year of knowledge, I think the team is much more prepared this year. Having already completed one problem last year, we are all far more equipped for the challenge. It’s like with any test—if people take the same test multiple times, they tend to do better. Hopefully, that same logic will apply to our performance.

That’s pretty much all that is happening in my life right now. College applications are not that fun, and take up a lot of time. I seem unable to fully leave them, as for some reason I continue to see myself writing more college essays. I hope to get back to doing some more interesting stuff in the future when I have a bit more free time.
